We spent the last day of January celebrating our Red Dragons abilities in communication!!
January's dragon skill was communication. During this month students were able to practice, learn and understand what good communicators look like, sound like, and feel like to be around. Through classroom activities, daily group work, and Mrs. Calph's push in lessons students were exposed to so many opportunities to practice good communication!
Today's Dragon Celebration Day was a Game Day in the cafeteria with your grade level or going to the Zen Den to participate in guided drawings! Both of these allow students to practice their communication skills as well as their active listening skills! We had a total of 225 kiddos join us to play games and 43 kiddos do some pretty awesome drawings! That is a total of 268 students who were able to celebrate themselves and their hard work today.
268 students = $9,380 Dragon Dollars spent! Wow!! We couldn't be more proud!
